A slight step up in quality here for the 2013 release. I first tasted this wine with the 2012, and as with that release the over-riding feel here is of a wine in balance with a textural feel. At the price point, it more than stakes its claim as a good drinking proposition.
Capsicum, suggestions of cream and barrel work. Textural, richness, touch of acid on the back palate that acts as a counter-point to the texture. Good reach, length, and a touch of chalky phenolics. 91
