Caledonia Australis Reserve Pinot Noir 2009

Allure of red fruit, touch of woodland and spice for an additional layer of interest. In summary: very attractive savoury bent.

A lightness, ethereal, somewhat at odds to the expected depth. Moving to intense spice, tight-fine tannin structure. Impressive length and depth, flashes of mineral and red fruit. An impressive release. 92

  1. I haven't tried this label's PN for years, and for no particular reason since I've generally thought it was rather good. A good reminder.

    Cheers
