Allure of red fruit, touch of woodland and spice for an additional layer of interest. In summary: very attractive savoury bent. A lightness, ethereal, somewhat at odds to the expected depth. Moving to intense spice, tight-fine tannin structure. Impressive length and depth, flashes of mineral and red fruit. An impressive release. 92 Tasted on: Monday 9th June, Root to Flower day Source: Gift/ Sample Price: $38 ($228/6 pack) Alcohol: 13.5% Closure: Screwcap Website: http://southgippslandwinecompany.com/ Follow me: http://twitter.com/TheVinsomniac
I haven't tried this label's PN for years, and for no particular reason since I've generally thought it was rather good. A good reminder.
