Hill-Smith Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2012


Tasted blind in a bracket of eight Chardonnays, all Australian, a mix of vintages and regions represented. 

Stonefruit up front, supporting framework of subtle wood in support.

Textural, worked example through battonage, wild ferment. Spicy oak present, delightful balance here of fruit/acid/oak. 91
