Pertaringa Sauvignon Blanc 2014

A touch simpler than its K1 stablemate, but in many ways that's what many might look for in a Sauvignon Blanc.

For me, it was suggestive of warmer months ahead. Clean and fresh, it carries a bit of 'punch' towards the back end. Opening with more pronounced tropicals: lychee, guava, a lick of passionfruit - I was thinking simply grilled prawns accompanied with a little mango salsa.

Wine can do that to you, yes I may have a soft spot for this wine, but affinity can be one of wine's many allures. Concludes with a touch of grip, more than just a simple savvy. 88
