K1 by Geoff Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

In unison with its older sibling, showing that attractive bouquet. The youth sees the fruit more dominant, residual herb, more oak and vanilla.
Doesn't seem to carry as much weight as the 2010, fruit presence here has greater intensity also. Tannin profile different, bearing the hallmarks of a quality wine from a highly regarded vintage, it's minerally/ graphite and drying with an almost chalky feel.
Length is excellent - a clear preference for this wine - will be excellent once it settles and all pulls together. 93
