Longhop Pinot Gris 2014

Long Hop is a partnership between old school buddies Dom Torzi (of torzi-Matthews) and Tim Freeland. Fruit is sourced from the Mount Lofty Ranges.

Fresh and fragrant, requisite pear with a little apple and spice cascading out of the glass.

Good balance, acid against a little swetness. Has a chalky feel to proceedings, a little like the crushed candies you could get as a kid (love hearts and the like). Surprisingly good length, not cloying. Happily go this. 88

Tasted on: Sunday 31st August, a Flower day
Source: Sample
Price: $18
Alcohol: 13.5%
Closure: Screwcap
