Patina Riesling 2013

Shy, retiring, took a while to unfurl. Tight - and opening slowly it reveals citrus by way of a little mandarin, orange blossom, lime and a suggestive guava note.

The palate shows a little textural spread - acid nicely balanced against the retention of a little residual sugar.

Length is good, again it grows in stature, soft...gentle length - a pleasurable 89 pairing nicely with some chilli prawns.

Tasted on: Friday 5th September, a Fruit day
