Voyager Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2010

Exquisitely varietal, unequivocally regional. Bay, bush and cedar - the latter a wonderful seasoning to the wine's aromatic profile. Cocoa dusted, dusky violet and a little earth.

Elegantly medium bodied, sees black olive, capsicum and a little herb. A good framework to the wine - a gentle acidic freshness, fine tannin - all indicative of a good life ahead.

Really enjoyed how well the oak has integrated here - noticeable, not dominant - for the wine spends 19 months in 50% new French. A pleasure. 93
