I've been impressed with the Angullong wines of late, that good impression is continued here with this appropriately called Pinot Grigio. Pear and green apple - pronounced aromatics here, certainly of its variety. Small presence of some guava-esque tropicals only add to it. Crisp, punchy from the off. Good use of phenolics for an extra lingering mouthfeel. Calls itself a Grigio and certainly behaves like one. 91 Tasted on: Sunday 19th April, a Fruit day Source: Sample Price: $19 Alcohol: 13% Closure: Screwcap Website: http://www.angullong.com.au/ Follow me: http://twitter.com/TheVinsomniac
