d'Arenberg draws from fruit from both McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills to produce this exceptional value Chardonnay.The perfume is interesting, showing citrus, husk and more than a little spice.
The palate sees more of that line of citrus coming through: lemon, lime, a little mandarin; residual oak adds some depth, but really it's the texture - a good weight - that rounds out the palate, along with a spine of acid for length. 90
