Medium-full, powdery tannin that resolves to a little black tea bitterness. Semblance of cassis and plum moving to a savoury back palate. Drinks well - the clincher, and key to value - good persistence.
Lacking depth, but depth isn't something you'd necessarily seek at the price point. 88
