Lino Ramble Tom Bowler Nero d'Avola 2014

Lino Ramble is Andy Coppard and Angela Townsend, both plying their respective trades via day jobs at Kay Bros in McLaren Vale.

Redcurrant jelly - deeper, darker savoury elements, cured meat and a little balsamic - bucolic you might say.

Medium bodied, hoi sin, plum; savoury, Woody - I couldn't escape the aroma of the small square of 90% Lindt Excellence under my nose. Good tannin structure, comes afore a juice laden finish. Good wine. 91

Tasted on: Thursday 26th May: Fruit to Root day
Source: Retail, Cru Bar
Price: $28
Alcohol: 13.5%
Closure: Screwcap
