Deviation Road Altair Brut Rosé NV

It could well be said that Kate Laurie has bubbles coursing through her veins, having - at the tender age of 19 - decided that winemaking was to be her chosen passion and promptly headed off to study at the Lycée Viticole d’Avize in Champagne.

This cracking fizz comprised of Chardonnay and Pinot Npir speaks clearly of its constituent parts: strawberry, raspberry, all round summer berry aromatic intro.

Lively, energetic on entry; sprightly in glass, a good persistent bead. Supple, silken, has a good weight and elegant presence; red apple skins, a little spice in the mix.

Damn good length 92
