Vinteloper Park Wine White 2015

I was in two minds as to whether to write this wine up, for it somehow seems against the intent of the wine, but as some marketing blurb for the wine goes: "no pretension, no rules", so bugger it, I'll do what I want.

Comes in 500ml hand grenade; spends 14 days on skins, is unfined and unfiltered.  Still dunno where it's from mind, there's no region listed on the label.

It's funky, perfumed, something like pineapple cubes meets an explosion of tangerine with a yeasty/Cider bent

Loose, open weave, with a decent textural spread. More of that pineapple, citrus meandering across the palate. And with that - perhaps in spite of - it finishes dry, delicately spiced.

Lingering presence on the finish, drying. 90
