Cush & Cush Wine Co Chardonnay 2016

Whole bunch pressed Chardonnay here, unfiltered, giving a delightful haze in glass.

Citrus, fig paste, barest hints of oak - a small amount of new French used.

Oak on entry, stonefruit, grapefruit citrus; has a textural spread, not battonage, the result of bottling unfiltered - hence the slight haze. Hints of spice - savoury to boot. Inherent complexity.

The back palate shows more savoury charm, drying, a touch of phenolics. 91
