d'Arenberg The Hermit Crab Viognier Marsanne 2015

Blend of Viognier (58%) and Viognier (42%). Carries an interesting herbal edge on opening, kinda like a cold Jasmine tea perhaps. Requisite florals, a little apricot nectar.

More stonefruit on the palate, more defined this time. Sweeter, more of that nectar seen earlier.

Not particularly profound in length, or textural. But pleasant enough.  88

Tasted on: Thursday 5th January, a Leaf day
Source: Sample
Price: $15
Alcohol: 13.1%
Closure: Screwcap
