Ridgemill Estate Eloise Sparkling Brut Rosé 2014

A Brut Rosé companion for Eloise, a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; Cognac dosage. Pours a delightful copperish hue.

Cumquat marmalade, macerated strawberry; suggestion of stonefruit brioche.

Lively, minerality, positively effervescent. Flavour presents more of the same on the palate, the liveliness carrying the flavours. There's something like burnt citrus oil on the back palate - curious. But not unenjoyable. 87
