Out of Step Wine Co. Denton Hill View Chardonnay 2016

Hand picked, pressed to barrel and then wild yeast fermented. Matured in 10% new/90% used French oak barriques and hogsheads. Full MLF, no fining, racked, settled (but not filtered) and then into bottle. No additions other than sulphur dioxide.

Delicate stone fruit (apricot, peach), that fruit is followed an inherently savoury mien.

Delicate on entry: before minerality, a little toastiness; loaded with citrus, in a very even handed manner. An easy citric acid frame that melds into a creamy, textural form.

The Out of Step crew are anything but, another flavoursome wine showing good balance and form. 91
