It's dark, leathery, pruny, almost gamey in stature.
At odds to this, the palate is light, silken. Soft red fruits, delicate sandy tannin. There's a hint of spice that brings up the rear. Moreish.
Not suggesting it would go much further, but very much an enjoyable drink now and great memories of a wonderful day.. 89
