Alkoomi Wandoo Semillon 2013

Very much enjoy what the Alkoomi team do. Generally consistest, certainly a quality producer. The tyranny of distance of the Great Southern region doing nothing to quell their intent and approach to making fantastic wines.

Here, a four year old Semillon sits grassy and herbaceous, with herbal, citrus, lemongrass and a little kaffir lime.

Cool and crisp on entry, hints of kiwi fruit; green, in taste - lots of green apple - and sense; creamy menthol butter, and a swirling vanilla essence about it. Gentle, decent length. Very good. 91
