Yelland and Papps Second Take Roussanne 2016

Spends 9.5m in old French oak; sent to bottle unfined/ unfiltered - ergo is (even if accidentally) Vegan friendly.

Honeysuckle, honeydew, suggestion of pineapple even. White florals, somewhat estery - in a good way - biscuity and a faint whiff of nuts. In many ways it defies description. This is not your normal Roussanne, even just visually it is something different, and most certainly a welcome addition to the ever shifting landscape of Australian wine.

Has this partial sour tang, balance of fruit/acid and a real penetrative reach into the far flung recesses of the palate. Good drive, zesty and fresh, gives a real lasting reach. 92
