The Barossa boy in question is Trent Burge, son of stalwart Grant. Barossa Boy is Trent's solo outing with an initial release consisting of this GSM, A Cab/Shiraz, with a Mataro to follow in the new year (2018) A dark core, leathery and earthen with fruit accents, a black fruited mass.
Smooth and supple on entry, spicey - a little clove and black pepper. The tannin profile is somewhat coarse, broad grained with a lingering licorice presence on a good length. 90
