Yelland & Papps Sete di Vino Primitivo Barbera 2016

This Italianate blend is often a winner, the herbal inflections sitting over a darker chicory-licorice-mulberry core just offers a mix of aromatics to entice.

The palate offers a wine of medium body and good acidity that can clean up. A fine rub of tannin, a dark - almost chocolatey heart - sits well against the fruit.

Solid offering. 90
