Mitchell Mataro Grenache 2012

Dusty, almost leafy, meaty even. Fresh peppery hints, remnants of fruit and a suggested of dried currant. Medium bodied, a lightness and delicacy - even - that combines some choc-mocha, licorice salinity.

Generous carry of flavour, but in that light context. Tannin is present, fine, persistent. There's a little flash of that salinity thAT gives the wine it's secondary surge of flavour. Great overall package, and nice to see released as a 5yo, particularly given the ask. 92
