Long overdue look at a Riesling purchased just under a year ago. Oh my, on aroma alone this is a winner. It’s pristine, all aromatic green apple, hints of lime and lemongrass, elements of bath salt. But it’s really about the glorious apple and citrus bursting forth and assaulting the nasal cavity.
A soft and gentle entry is somewhat rudely interrupted by pristine acidity. It’s rather pure in how it then travels, such focus on the palate. There’s a bitter lemon twist through the finish and even a little phenolic pucker to really get things going. Immaculate. 94
