Wirra Wirra Woodhenge Shiraz 2016

Robust Shiraz from McLaren Vale, as solid as Trott's 'Woodhenge', except this is fruit driven rather than wood.

It carries the McLaren Vale signature, writ-large: all black fruit and heady and earthen lines. Full, chewy palate, black fruit in abundance, twists of licorice, the double helix of its DNA. Tannin is barely there, well meshed into the very fabric of this wine's being. 90

Tasted on: Sunday 29th April, a Root to Flower day
Source: Sample
Price: $35
Alcohol: 14.5%
Closure: Screwcap
