Tim Adams The Aberfeldy Shiraz 2014

This vintage just exhibits this bright perfume, a mix of blue fruit, eucalypt and a smattering of oak seasoning. It's wonderfully inviting to the drinker.

For all its forward nature, its still reserved and quite tight in the body. The tannin is fine-grained and also firm at the same time.

Substantive in nature, like many a good wine it straddles that line between fine and sensuous, and yet with a fuller frame - aspects and qualities that will serve well for the future. 93
