d'Arenberg The Laughing Magpie Shiraz Viognier 2014

The glowing rim gives it away, yet the aroma speaks more to the oak and dense McLaren
Vale fruit, perhaps a latent violet and blackcurrant fruit edge.

The palate is almost sculpted, textured tannin sweeping across the palate, yielding to little. It's a good release, as good as I can recall in recent years. 92
