Heartland Directors Cut Shiraz 2016

Rich, toffeeish oak framing the wine up nicely. The oak provides a focus, directing you toward succulent red fruit both as an aroma and on the palate.

Soft and lighter than one might expect on entry, the palate pinches a little, narrowing before a secondary resurgence of fruit and spice. Locked in a dogfight to the finish. 92

Tasted on: Wednesday 6th March
Source: Sample
Price: $33
Alcohol: 14.5%
