Dusty, cocoa nib nose. Hints of earth, in that Mudgee manner - terroir in action.
Requisite blackcurrant fruit on the palate, generously spiced, cedary. There's hints of licorice that - for this gentleman amateur anyway - form the significant memory of the finish.
