Ballycroft Small Berry Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Normally the wine of Joe's I approach with the most trepidation: Langhorne Creek Cabernet clocking in at 15%, not for the faint hearted.

The oak is present, perhaps dominant, that with some chocolate and biscuits oak remnants. Herbal inflections, bay.

The depth and intensity of flavour are present, yet it doesn't come across as full throttle as one has encountered prior. It's a blue/black fruit mix, velvet smooth across the palate; full bodied, but Joe has the measure of this. 89

Tasted on: Thursday 11th July, a Flower day
Source: Sample
Price: $45
Alcohol: 15%
Closure: Screwcap
