Robert Stein Half Dry RS15 Riesling 2018

This one slipped to the back of the pile, and to be honest when I found it I was waiting for an appropriate food moment to attempt to pair with. Do love a half/off-dry Rizza with a bit of chilli.

Really pronounced lemon aroma, lemon sherbet meets preserved lemons. Fresh, fragrant, and a floral touch creating an allure.

More of the same on the palate, yields to a zest and minerally aspect. Touch of weight from the retained sugar, pitched well against the natural acidity. Balance, as ever, is key - the sugar/acid mix working in unison to deliver. 93
