The 2017 releases from Taylor's are looking in fine form. Fresh, with an elegance, and a smattering of French oak evident on the nose.
Plummy notes, carried through with cassis on the palate. Fine tannin, tasting as much like a Clare red as anything. For Merlot clocking in at 14% it works well, neither overblown or blousy. 89
