Windowrie Family Pinot Noir 2017

Darker manifestation of the variety, deeper to note. Still somewhat light of palate, possessing a guile and lightness but lacking - for mine - the carry and depth of flavour.

The aromatics show more by way of blackcurrant and black cherry here. The tannin, fine, yet not able to make up for what is lacking elsewhere.

I don't think that Pinot Noir is the region's best variety, and there's little here to make me contend otherwise. 88
