Zonte's Footstep Chocolate Factory Shiraz 2017

Mulberry overlaid with a little chocolatey oak. Classic McLaren Vale Shiraz.

A bitterness on entry, a nice contrast to the smoothness of the palate and semblance of fruit. There's a slight raspberry hint, subtle, combined with the Plum and Mulberry aspects. Tannin is fine, substantive enough to leave an impressive, subtle enough to not dominate.

An acidic freshness gives length. 90
