Angullong Fossil Hill Chardonnay 2017

From the cool, high country of Orange, vines planted out at 850m.

Slightly vegetal, as if from the fridge crisper. Given some time, a suggestion of citrus oil and stonefruit.

The palate, fairly neutral, subtle - barely ripe - nashi pear. It's as if it hasn't got out of second gear, the foundations of something with potential are there, just not quite fulfilling that promise. 87

Tasted on: Monday 10th June, a Fruit day
Source: Sample
Price: $26
Alcohol: 13%
Closure: Screwcap
