Bremerton Walter's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

There's a strong sense and flow with this wine. Without even seeing, or thinking of alcohol levels, you sense it's up there. (Click for previous reviews 2012, 2013).

It's black fruited, black olive skin, hints of licorice, touch spirited with some of those alcohol notes tickling the olfactory organ.

Supple, silken body, the palate at odds with that supposition, with firm tannin. Blackcurrant/cassis, fine oak seasoning; back palate offering this sweet/sour balance.

A wine that's impressive in stature, if just a touch chunky at this early juncture. 91+
