Golden Grove Estate Nero d'Avola 2016

A whiff of the overflowing ashtray married to some deep Plum and black cherry aromatics.

That curious interplay of fruit and savoury character, residual oak remnants linger, hickory like smokiness on the back palate. A delicate line of acidity carries black pepper to its conclusion.

Wouldn't look out of place against some Sicilian examples, of course with a Granite Belt twist. 91
