Jansz Rosé 2015

Pouring a delightful salmon hue, Jansz of Tasmania - a Hill-Smith Family (Yalumba) brand - made in the Methode Tasmanoise (nice touch) style. It's 100% Pinot Noir, grown in the Pipers River sub-area.

Six months on oak, has added depth and complexity to a fine spine of acidity. Strawberry and a hint of spice adorn the nose, almond paste and a touch of bready complexity evident too.

Overall a wine of assertive authority on the palate, subtle tannin and a creamy mouth-filling palate all combine, subsiding to a gentle, yet driven, length. 91
