Morris of Rutherglen Classic Liqueur Topaque NV


Topaque - the artist formerly known (in Australia) as Tokay (a name now verboten outside of Hungary). Made from Muscadelle - a white grape variety.  

Here manifesting itself as a deep, rich, toffeed wine - molasses like in aroma.

Unctuous, multi-layered, hints of coffee and toffee. Caramelisation, perhaps hints of cinder toffee in the frame too. Finishing dry and generous, with a length of nuts and raisins. 91
