Silkwood Estate The Bowers Merlot 2015

There's an intense, lingering, tobacco and black olive profile to this wine. It's firm in flavour, with with a fine and silken tannin profile.

It's honest, aromatically conveying red fruit, capsicum and herbal twangs. Yet that dark, black palate - even with moderating tannin does dominate. Perfectly acceptable, if no great shakes. 87
