Auld Family Wines Wilberforce Cabernet Shiraz 2015

The classic Aussie red blend.

Blackcurrant meets a hint of kirsch, there’s a suggestion of oak in the frame, squaring things up. Coffee grounds, mocha notes, all up a solid blend of the leading players.

Slightly fuller, sweet and succulent accented fruit, latterly a vanilla creme kiss long across the palate. Tannins are fine and long, chalky to boot casting a long shadow. Generosity of flavour and intent. 92
