Hastwell and Lightfoot Fiano 2019

Hastwell and Lightfoot have nailed the texture on these whites (there's a Vermentino too), feeling quite quite slippery across the palate, without being overwrought or excessively unctuous.

There's a touch of balancing acidity on the backbone too. Aromatics on intro offering a subtle sandalwood spice, something exotic to entice.

Layered citrus palate offers delicate waves of flavour, fresh herbs along with spice and a nuttiness adding to the overall proposition. 90
