Touch of gum leaf, choc-mint-eucalypt, over cassis and blue fruit. It's fragrant, yet seemingly reticent to come forward initially.
Soft, silken and sensuous is how one might describe the palate. A fair throw of fruit seems to dominant the palate, youthful more than it may initially suggest. Tannin structure is quite coarse, nigh raw, and casting a long shadow across the finish. It's acidic freshness against that rawness will ensure a longevity. 93+
