Harewood Estate Denmark Chardonnay 2018

The Great Southern wine region is one to watch, tucked somewhat remotely in Western Australia's South East corner - that sentence there laying claim to the most compass references in a review opening!

Grapefruit and lemon sherbet notes here; fresh, vibrant and zesty. Seemingly a touch fuller - clocking in at 14% - for what is a cool and Maritime region.

That said the palate shows a light and focal citrus touch, gently coasting across, not as defined in profile as perhaps the aromatics might initially convey. Well made, refreshing, gentle in its conviction. 92
