Pikes The Assemblage SMG 2017

Opens with a reductive, meaty note - seemingly befits what is ostensibly a 'Rhone' blend, Shiraz
dominant.

Supple, medium bodied wine, a fine rasp of tannin with black pepper nuances spread across the palate.

Easy going all up, more for now, although one suggests it will deliver over 3-4 years: drink to 2024. 89
