Terre à Terre Crayères Vineyard Reserve 2016

Barrel selection of Cabernet Sauvignon (68%) with the balance being equal components of Cabernet Franc and Shiraz.

Sullen on initial opening, the oak (average 84% new) being more prominent and masking the profile of the fruit.

The palate is tight, a firm and coiled tannin profile speaks volumes as to the wine's quality, potential and longevity.

Slowly the wine begins its long reveal, red and black berry fruit is drawn long across the palate, a freshening length working in tandem with oak and tannin to create a lasting sensation that lingers long in the memory. An exquisite, harmoniously balanced wine. Assured of a bright future. 96
